Unyap

Impatience, now a browser extension.

You clicked for the answer, not for ten minutes of intro. Unyap is a Chrome extension for YouTube: it finds the part of a video that answers its title, and Unyap it jumps there. A strip over the progress bar marks filler, context and substance, and Next good part skips to the next useful bit. If the title is never answered, it tells you.

Unyap on a YouTube video: the Unyap it, Previous and Next good part buttons over the player, a strip above the progress bar coloured yellow for filler and green for the interesting parts, and the debug panel counting 20 judgments in 2 API requests.

It runs in your browser with your own OpenAI API key. It uses OpenAI’s Decisions API, which answers every question about a video in a single request, so a new video costs about $0.001 and one you already analyzed costs nothing. Nothing is sent to me, and I store no data. Other AI providers are coming soon.

Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. I built it at the DevDay Community Hackathon in Berlin, October 2026.
